The application of the non-contact data-collecting technology (based on SCM) is mainly used in the IC cards area. However, this technology develops slowly and its application is very narrow, just because of its some shortcomings. The non-contact data-collecting system based on FPGA designed in this dissertation has more flexible design, stronger adaptability and reconstruction.In this dissertation, Firstly, development status about the non-contact data-collecting at home and abroad is analyzed, and the system's working principle and its control method is also disserted.; Secondly, the communication protocol between VCD and VICC is studied, and the thinking about the design of the whole system is proposed, also, chip and the hardware description language are selected to complete the design; Thirdly, according to the character of this control system, the practical design is given as follows: (1) using the modular theory, the control system is divide into three module: data reception, data storage, data sent;(2) firstly each module's working process and its implement function are analyzed, then the module's hardware schematics is designed, and the program of each module is programmed;(3) for the module which has been designed, is simulated in order to check its correct by using the simulation tool; (4) the three sub-modules are combined into an entire one, using USB cable, the whole design is configured into the FPGA chip which is on the development-board in order to check the design in the fictitious environment; Lastly, the non-contact data-collecting is summarized and analyzed, and the development direction in the future is also proposed in this dissertation.Using hardware description language-VHDL, integrated system design environment-ISE and ModelSim XE III 6.0a simulation tool, the communication system between VCD and VICC has been built up in the dissertation, and also, according to the simulation and verification for many times, the design of the control system has been realized.
