With the development of technology in the field of smart card, the new smart cards with large storage and high computing capacity at the chip level become personal information storage center and new VAS launch platform. However, since the relevant specifications and standards haven't been updated accordingly, currently the advanced features provided by the new technologyof such new products cannot be applied effectively. This paper aims at solving such problems by expanding communication protocol of ME-SIM card in order to effectively facilitate the application of the new businesses of the SIM card in the terminals.This paper will address the related aspects in this area. It will first introduce the theoretical fundamentals, then review the current specifications and standards of ME-SIM communication and analyze the similarities and differences of SIM card operations methods of different Mobile communication terminals platforms. Aiming at solving the core issue of this subject, the data channel of the ME-SIM communication, the paper will focus on how to expand the communication protocol based on the existed specifications and standards and develop the application programs inside both the SIM card and the terminals at the same time. Based on the logical theoretical analysis and detailed technology research, the subject will conclude and come out the solutions for products realization and verification in reality.This paper will not only specify the MAOS system from theoretical perspective but also cover the application of MAOS system in reality from product development perspective. The 1st chapter will introduce the background and basic information of the MAOS system; the 2nd chapter will address the relevant technology fundamental of the MAOS system; and the 3rd and 4th chapter will analyze in details the core issue of the MAOS system, the development and realization of the data channel based on the exchange technology of virtual memory, from both the theoretical and development realization perspectives. The final 5th chapter will review the characteristics and functions the of the MAOS system by product verification of the MAOS system.
