Worldwide speaking, China is a factory for global garments industry in advantage of OEM, material or stuff processing and low-cost labor force and manufacture the cheapest garments with all kinds. Being a factory of global garments industry was an overwhelming stage in the past since our country's garment technology was in low level. Now, it's another day, we have perfect industrial chain and our technology of garment manufacture is leading the way in the world. However, we still produce the low-threshold, low-value-added and low-technique-require garments for brand companies who enjoy the lion's share of profits in other countries which usually mean Europe, America, Italy and Japan. It's time to think why we only share the least profits by devoting a large amount of labor forces and material resources and what we can do to change that situation. It's time to think when our own garment brands will come out and what our problems on building our own brands are.This article is trying to find problems we have and the effect factors --or at least one of them--on our own garment brands building from WWW search engine perspective.Research of this article based on the data-base of the 704 search results on Google search results web pages generated by searching the key words"china garment"at www.google.com. Research items of the data-base are the total sequence number, the subclass sequence number, the title, the summary, the URL and the description of the linked website which including character, remark, language type and text size. First, Analysis Method was used for reference to demonstrate that the data-base is capable of being used for statistics investigation. Then, quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and inductive and deductive method were applied to analyze the commonness, diversity, characteristic and so on of samples of the data-base. The following conclusions turn out as a consequence.1. Information of Google search results web pages generated by searching 2. the key words"china garment"is inclined to communicate information of manufacture, process and sale cheep garment product.3. Trade and Business websites account for 60% in total results while the companies'websites just hold 15%,accounting for about 0.2% of all garment companies which export garments to overseas in china.4. 95% linked website pages look roughly in frame, layout, and pictures, etc. They were designed to promote deals.5. Search results which designed to spread brand reputation are no more than 5%. They ranked in the back pages of Google and hard to be seen.In a word, Information of Google search results web pages generated by searching the key words"china garment"is lack of brand information and not good for china garment brands building, which becomes the most overwhelming baffle at present when"overproduction formed because of industry culture, which cause competition object transfer to information competition."...
