University Laboratory Management Information Systems Research And Design

Information Management Technology based on Web is the bracket for mainstream information management system developing during internet period. With the development of software , data base and network technology development , information period enables information management system with new definition . Therefore , under the background of Education Information advocated by the country , the necessity and feasibility of research and practice based on Web information management system becomes more obvious gradually . In order to improve the management and service level, raise working efficiency,speed up the construction of the digital campus, it is necessary to develop the laboratory management information system(MIS).With the up-to-date research achievements of Information Management System at home and abroad as a reference, full investigation and study and analysis modern laboratory management mode, based on the management mode and characteristic of open-laboratory.The wide use of internet and the development of the related technologies have great influence on the traditional Management Information System (MIS).The Information System based on Browser/Server mode has been advanced platform of information integration in modern time.In this paper the MIS based on B/S mode is researched and developed, enables the intellectualization,scientific, information goal of universities laboratory management can be realized.This paper begins with basic principle and the key technologies,discussing B/S based MIS design,development,security and optimization of system; introducing the application of module technology; the model for Lab MIS by using UML; describing the whole process of the system requirement analysis and system design.This paper divides into six parts .In the first part,the source and research situation of the related subjects is narrated.In the second part, according to the software engineering designing, the requirement analysis is described. In the third part, the B/S mode principle of work and the characteristics of useing the B/S mode development information system and the application of module technology in B/S mode are discussed, at the same time comparing with the popular web-database access technologies,includly ASP and ADO. In the forth part, the design of function and database are researched. In the fifth part, it discusses the key technologies of the Open Lab MIS and makes a deep research on security and optimization of this system. In the sixth part, it summarizes the research results, analyzes the existent problems and the functions to be improved of the system in the after time.
