The system of millimeter wave radiometer is mainly used to detecting the radiation energy of object, and use the energy difference of object to imaging.The theory of this is the same as the infrared object imaging. By its special technique advantage,it can penetrate through clouds,rain,fog and smoke in battlefield…etc. also it can have a whole day,all-weather work ability; and can penetrate through the nonmetal material, so it have a certain anti-camouflage ability; Because it passive receive signal, not easily to be detected and this greatly improved the viability;The difference of the radiation energy by artificial object is more larger and the contrast degree is more high, this is advantageous to a target detection and identify.These characteristic make it have unsubstitutable advantage in some applications by other imaging technique, As a result it has important application value in the realm of scene surveillance,the airplane's blind to land,battlefield surveillance,the military probe and antiterrorism struggle etc.This thesis according to the theory of millimeter wave radiometer have researched the multichannel millimeter wave radiometer relies on the research item, and designed the singlechannel millimeter wave radiometer, used it we do some experiments and have got some important results. The concrete research contents and the results are as follows:(1) Summarized the dynamic state of domestic and international and the principle of imaging;immediately after discussed the model,the structure and its characteristics of several typical radiometers, make sure the type of the radiometer which this thesis want to study.(2) Designed the scheme of multichannel millimeter wave radiometer, discussed the system structure, the working time, the work process.(3) Designed the basic scheme of some parts of the system and how to choose a part according to the system target.(4) Designed the scheme of the servo system and ensured the parts of servo system according to the system target. (5) Taken part in the design of the verification experiment system on the single channel millimeter wave radiometer; Finished the design of the signal processing unit.(6) Finished the related experiments and the identification by using the single channel millimeter wave radiometer.
