As a new imaging technology, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging technology has evolved to satisfy a variety of application for both civilian and military users. The echo signal simulation is very important to the study of the SAR system and the imaging methods, is the foundation of the technology of SAR simulation. SAR echo simulator can support SAR system design with database, is the necessary instrument for the design, research and test of SAR system.In this dissertation, we study hardware and software implementation of target DA Board for SAR echo simulator. The main content is as following:1. According to algorithm for SAR echo simulation and the requirement of our project, we establish system framework based on DSPs+FPGA. The target signal is generated by DSPs Parallel Processing Board, convoluted with LFM signal and converted to echo signal by DA converter in DA Board.2. Research on hardware design of DA Board, including: interface analysis; FPGA selection, loading and hardware connection; designing of DA module, PCI module, clock module and power module.3. Focus on software design and simulation of FPGA, including: LinkPort module, PCI interface module, convolution module and DA interface module.4. PCB design and system debug. 8 layer stack-up is used for PCB and Signal Integrity is performed in Hyperlynx. DA board is debuged by modules. Analog SAR echo waveform is achieved and sent to real time SAR image system.The realization of DA board, which is one of the most important parts in SAR echo signal simulation system, is valuable in military and civil application and is significant in achieving the project of SAR echo simulator. Its hardware structure can be applied to related fields such as signal waveform simulation. |
