Ceramic multilayer Nowdays mechanical equipment online-monitoring is an important technical measure for equipment operation management, through which the planned maintenance and periodic maintenance could be optimized into status maintenance and foreknowable maintenance. It fundamentally overturned the conventional way of mechanical equipment maintenance; preventing the equipment from sudden malfunction thus the serious equipment accident which will impact upon the production can be avoided. It also enables us to duly repair the faulted components of the equipment and lay a maintenance plan; therefore the unnecessary economic loss and performance degrading of the equipment resulting from the periodic maintenance are able to be prevented. The flawless diagnosis clearly shows us the exact type and position of the malfunction; eases the maintenance by avoiding aimless working and greatly shorten the maintenance duration. Besides, the excellent function of the system software could automatize the enterprise's equipment management and save abundant manpower thus bring the enterprise enormous economic efficacy.This article gave a description of the machine vibration principle and the signal treatment procedure with a view to the mechanical equipment, especially the problems and faults often occurred during the running of the rotated machine; their corresponding frequency spectrum has been analyzed in this article as well. In addition, the article introduced Pangang Rolling Mill's existing online-monitoring system including the signal type selecting, the sensor type selecting and the disposition n of the measuring points; illustrated the effect after using and the analysis procedure in consideration of the real case. General instruction regarding the working principle of the monitor system, the elements considered in the application and the real operation has been given as well in the article. The main content of this article are as followed:1. Development of the online monitoring technique and its importance at present2. The basic philosophy, type and characters of mechanical vibration; the basic treatment procedure of the vibration signals3. Analysis on the frequency spectrum of the typical mechanical vibrations in case of malalignment, imbalance, loose machine, gear defect and bearing problems4. System framework, conformation and functional features of online monitoring system supplied by SPM ;its usage and description of the case.
