Radar system simulation features economy, flexibility, practicality, etc., it becomes key technique of the research of radar systems and ECM (Electronic Counter Measures) systems. The mono-pulse tracking system is widely used in modern radar for its high angle measurement and powerful anti-jamming performance.Based on the development of MRSS (Mon-pulse Radar Simulation System), we mainly used the Matlab 7.0 to model and validate every module's functions, then, we utilize VC++ to design a software platform of the mono-pulse radar system. This dissertation mainly discusses some models of the signal environment, receiver, signal processing and data processing.In the signal environment part, point target, the echo of targets are modeled and simulated. The main forms of clutter including the log-normal distribution, Weibull distribution, K distribution are given and simulated by using ZMNL. In the antenna and receiver part, basic modules are analyzed and simulated, such as antenna pattern of sum-difference pattern of phase mono-pulse radar, the time sensitivity of Control (STC), Automatic gain control (AGC), adaptive AGC ,orthogonal coherent detection and receiver noise. The adaptive AGC use of efficient detector (integral comb filter) and the first order FIR filter based on recursive least squares (RLS). In the signal processing part, it chiefly research the buffer, the pulse compress, then it discusses how to suppress the range sidelobe of combined Barker code and how to solve the error angle. It also discusses the inconsistency between the sum and difference channels, which will affect angle measurement. A method of calibrating amplitude and phase imbalances between the sum and difference channels is researched. In the radar data processing, firstly, it talks about how to solve the ambiguity of distance and velocity. Then, it emphasis on researching the implement of Kalman filter in tracking.Finally, this dissertation simulates the mono-pulse radar software system that we designed and present some testing report.
