The history of esthetics is closely related to the histories of human ideology, culture and civilization, and the variation of medium is unseparated from the history of human civilization. (Maxloon) takes the medium as the origin of individual development, social progress and the evolution of human civilization in the book of understanding medium, abandoning the traditional economical viewpoint and esthetic theories. Although this causes discontinuous debate in the academe, the close relationship between the variation of medium and human civilization is broadly recognized. Therefore, it is for certain that there are countless ties between the history of esthetics and the variation of medium. Besides that, the uprising of research on esthetic appreciation is closely related with the development of medium. In the age of word-medium, the transmitting of information and culture was controlled by those intellectually outstanding people and the noble who owned the ability to read, which caused the utterance supremacy in thought and culture, and esthetics came to be the"outstanding thought"spread in the upper class of the society. In the age of eclectic medium, the transmitting methods of information and culture became various, the traditional utterance authority was challenged, and the broad using of"beauty", even the abuse and misuse of it made esthetics popular in public, which caused quite a lot of social cultural phenomenon and aroused kinds of debates among the outstanding culture, secular culture and popular culture. The analysis about these phenomena could not be taken apart from the research on the characteristics of the medium itself and the mastering of the traditional esthetics. Take the television medium as an example. The popularity in its own transmitting rules gets fit for the capital marketing management which is becoming more and more obvious, and this makes its transmitting product, TV programs, take on the factor of consuming; meanwhile, its character of instant transmit makes the TV programs take on the different art features from the other media. And referring to different nations and districts, because of the differences of traditional cultures and the original esthetic values, the art of TV programs take on different esthetic features.On the combinations of esthetic theories and TV programs together, the history of esthetics and the history of media, this paper exams all kinds of cultural phenomena caused by TV medium and analyzes the Chinese characters reflected in Chinese arts shows on the effect of traditional culture and esthetic idea of neutralization, which is from the angles of comparison of the esthetics and cultures of the domestic and abroad, basing on the transmitting characters of medium itself and the performance of capital market. The whole paper can be divided into four parts.Part one is about the background review of the Chinese TV arts programs. TV, as the representative of electronic media, has exerted a great influence on human's social life since the day of its invention. The TV arts programs, being a kind of sensible audio-visual materials that can be rearranged, are the product of media's development. Placed under the special Chinese esthetic cultural context, the Chinese TV arts programs will definitely present the peculiar Chinese esthetic characteristics.Part two is about the analysis of the Chinese TV arts programs'esthetic characteristics. As the representative of eclectic media, As the tiptop esthetic dream and the art standard to criticize in China, supposition concept requests at the first that the performing methods and ways of arts should be fit for the enduring ability of people's senses; secondly, it requests that the content of arts should obey the emotional supposition principle of amusing but not lascivious, grief but not distressed. Thus the traditional arts value requests that the arts should reflect the social politics on one hand, and on the other hand, it requests that people should restrict their emotion to guarantee that the emotion will not set positive effect on the society. With this influence, the amusement, esthetics and the emotional expression of the arts programs in the main land will always be restricted by the principle of moral teaching. The traditional concept attaching much importance to families and ethics are inculcated into the esthetic characteristics which are derived from the media characteristics and disseminating characteristics of TV. Part three is about the esthetic reconsideration of the Chinese TV arts programs. The evolution of the Chinese TV arts programs is not only the process of approaching the mass media but also a process of which the interaction between the mass media and capital market strengthens day by day. Along with the development of modern media and especially the aggravation of capital market operation, the scale duplication and the commercial factor seeps unceasingly to the Chinese TV arts programs 's form and the content. The born scale duplication, technical factors of volume production and the perceptual stimulation of image presentation, together with capital market commercial operation, construct the consumption connotation in the course of arranging TV programs. Therefore, in the evolution of Chinese TV programs, the entertainment, esthetics as well as emotion expression have gradually broken through the limits of traditional culture, and have curried obvious favor with the world.
