Smartcard has two advantages. First, it has high dependability. It can prevent magnetism, static and damage by machine and chemistry, the information in it can be kept at least one hundred years, read-write at least one hundred thousand times. And the card can be used for ten years at least. Second, it has good security, for it can use many encrypt means to ensure de security of the data. USB disk develops fast recently because of its big capability, portability and low price. Combine smartcard with USB disk, we can get a machine not only has the advantages of high security and dependability, but also can used in some fields that require big memory. The goal of this issue is just going to develop a kind of product which combines smartcard with USB disk to realize the function of buying invoice, issue invoice, sending invoice and so on. This product is named Tax-disk.This issue mainly includes designment and development of software in Tax-disk and whole test work of the product.Software designment consists of three parts: file structure, security and API part. This paper introduces these three parts and highlights the structure of security message, means of bulk message communication and big memory management. The big memory management is one of differences between Tax-disk and common smart card, and it is one innovation point of this issue. All software of this part is developed with C language in Zsoftdev2.0 platform.Test part describes the aims, cruces and methods of COS test, security test, API test, flow test respectively. The test of this part uses the general interface tool SmartBlue, and the script used in test is developed in VC6 environment.
