This paper fully analyses the configuration and the principle of EPS, specifies its Functionrequirement and the key technology. Base on these preparative, This paper establishes theparticular blueprint, optimizes the software and the hardware design and makes a lot of testsabout the performance of EPS ICM(Integration Control Module). Works the paper has doneshow as below: Use the V development model, break EPS ICM into a couple of submodule, atthe last, integrate the one by one; Study the control method of the EPS, firstly choose three keyparameter of the PID; Summarize the merits and the demerits of last two generation circuits,design and optimize the hardware of the EPS ICM, which include I/O circuit, drive circuit,power supply circuit and communication circuit, at last discuss the low power dissipationconstructive; According the software program flow, prescribe the executing condition of everytask; Analyze the crucial characteristic of EPS ICM, ascertain its key parameter according to thesimulation study; Establish EPS test environment, which include planning the platform project,designing and making the EPS supporting frame, choosing the test equipment, deciding differsignal collection course; At last, collect the performance of the EPS, analyze the data andappraise the EPS ICM. The examination shows that, this design has achieved the originalrequirement.
