Recorder on the vehicle is a device that can collect the status, such as velocity, timeand mileage, of the vehicle and store the information that should be output to the computeror other devices with RS-232 or USB.This paper is mainly about the software and hardware system. In this article weintroduce the basically knowledge of the USB techniques and the FAT (File AllocationTable) file system. We also introduce the function, performance and usage of the main ICused in this system. The main function of software system is collecting data from devicethen analyzes the data to draw a curve. So it can get the information of driver and car. Thesystem also can manage the information of motorcades and cars and drivers.
