Our country bankcard industry has experienced 20 remaining years of lifedevelopment. The EFT-POS system provides support environment for widely use ofbankcard. For a long time, the EFT-POS system only use PSTN to communicate, notEthernet(Internet), GPRS or CDMA. The PSTN is slow and costly. Contrarily, the Ethernetand GPRS/CDMA are more quick and low cost.The embedded system passes through several dozens years development. It wasalready ubiquitous, has the widespread adaptiveness and the multiplicity. It changedpeople's life enormously. The embedded Real-time operating system pivotally operates thedevelopment of all products.This article has analyzed the embedded system basic principle and the realizationmethod. According to TCP/IP protocol stratification structure and EFT-POS transactioncharacteristic, We gave the design proposal and realization process that used 32 bit ARMembedded processor, 10/100M ethernet control chip DM9000A, MC35i GPRSmodule/CCMG-1X800 CDMA module andμC/OS-Ⅱembedded real-time multi-dutyoperating system to realize the TCP/IP protocol on Ethemet/GPRS/CDMA network, theUART connection protocol as well as these network protocol mutual transformation. Thesystem has realized the EFT-POS transaction communication way promotiontransformation by the high performance-to-price ratio, and to the multi-host transactiondata route, the transaction data transmission secure and so on has made the fullconsideration. It builds an environment for cardholder use the bankcard securely andquickly.
