With the development of computer and information technology, modern militaryindustry demands the fuze design and research more and more rigorous. Althoughmodern fuze system has adopted diversified new technology, especially theelectrommunication technology and cybernetics, the fuze system design method stillis traditional and experiential method, which means that the fuze design and test notonly need long period but also consume large numbers of financing. Virtual test is anew testing technology with numerical solutions, in the fuze design phases, using thevirtual testing can achieve reliability test and evaluation of fuze to improve the designand performance continuously on the computer. Therefore, virtual test has been usedwidely in domestic and overseas fuze development.The objective of this paper is to research fuze dynamic and diathermanouscharacteristic, then according to theory analysis and real experiment, with thenumerical method to solve some problems in the fuze test and achieve fuze virtual testbasicly, supplying new theory,method and technology for fuze research.In this paper, the definition and connotation of fuze testing are expatiated firstly,and the meaning and the system composing of fuze virtual testing as well. as the hugefunction in fuze design are introduced from fuze system's point of view. Secondly, bythe theory of dynamical characteristic testing, the dynamical testing platform isestablished, and the system characteristic is identified by the testing data formathematical transfer function modeling. Simultaneously the finite element model offuze virtual testing is created as a part of virtual testing system by FEA method andproved by the testing data. Finally, the aerodynamic heating in fuze flying issimulated by CFD numerical method, and the temperature distribution and heatexchange of the fuze are analysed in the condition of high speed flying. Then theinfluence of heat stress and distortion are analysed to this condition. Based on thenumerical simulation of aerodynamic heating, the aerodynamic heating database isfounded according to simulation result as the basal platform of fuze aerodynamicheating virtual testing. By the aforementioned work, the dynamic and diathermanouscharacteristic of fuze are analysed,and the results indicate the virtual test is creditable.It can use the virtual testing to great effect in influencing the fuze design, besides, itcan give some suggestions to other fuze reliability virtual test.
