As Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) technology has entered a new era,Electromagnetic Compatibility testing has become the comprehensive technologywith great concern. At present, the expensive imported testing equipment forelectromagnetic compatibility tests and pre-tests is still mainly used in our country.Furthermore, there is some distance between the domestic technology level ofelectromagnetic compatibility testing receiver and the famous foreign equipmentproducers. And there are very few domestic equipment producers. Now, the market isin urgent need of electromagnetic compatibility testing receiver of higher quality forelectromagnetic interference (EMI) tests and pre-tests. Therefore, we present anelectromagnetic interference receiver design based on software radio transmissionmethod.This thesis focuses on a broadband conducted EMI test receiver applicationdesign of software-based radio techniques on the basis of discussing theelectromagnetic compatibility technology and software radio technology.First, we introduce the developments and the quality of the EMI test receiver inthe domestic and foreign countries. Then, we analyze several topology structures ofthe receiver and bring up the structure of super heterodyne-IF digital samplingstructure which is suit for the subject. Afterward, we get the receiver design with RFfront-end module, swept source modules, high-speed sampling modules and digitalsignal processing module.The system uses a heterodyne-IF digital receiver structure and sweeps signalwith the frequency being 0.15~30MHz in the way of DDS+PLL. The signal is mixedto the intermediate frequency after the second frequency conversion. IF modules usethe software radio method to change the IF signal from simulation to digital withhigh-speed sampling chip AD6645. The digital signal is sent to the DSPTMS320C6713 for real-time processing. Digital signal processing module is for thedigital filtering and digital demodulation and realizes multiple functions of the receiver with software. The use of software radio method has greatly improved theaccuracy and flexibility of the system.We present a feasible receiver design based on the software radio method in thethesis. And with MATLAB, ADS, CCS, ADIsimPLL and other EDA software, wecarry out the simulation and performance analysis of the key module and realize thehardware circuit of various modules as well as the performance testing for eachfunctional module.
