In information society and image era. facing to the different visual information in media communication, the people must have the ability to understand critically, visual literacy is becoming one of people's basic literacies in 21 century. The ability to " see " is that the people are innate, but the ability to " understand " needs training. Information technology and modern media expedite the emergence of the negative effect of visual culture , but they also are the effective edge tool to promote visual literacy training. The network can offer abundant resource, unique cultural angle and various study experience, having special position and strong function for visual literacy training.In theory, according to the essential characteristic of visual literacy training, this text propose the trinity tactics which is the organic integration of (the eyes, hand, brain),(watch, imagine, construct and paint) and (visual thinking, visual learning, visual communication), suggests the new argumentation that visual literacy raining is to promote the ability of higher-order thinking, discuss study mode for higher-order thinking under the support of information technology , propose the platform for autonomy learning to study visual culture knowledge, the platform for inquiry learning; to train the ability of visual leaning, the platform for collaborative learning to train the ability of visual communication, and the platform for reflective learning to train the ability to visual thinkingOn practice, this text t analyses the advantage and deficiency of network platform for visual literacy raining foreign and domestic, offering consultation for this subject, then judging from tactics of visual literacy training and function of network, propose that network platform should make up of resource platform with multiple representation, learning community for theme and e-magazine for special topic . Among them, resource platform is used to show main knowledge to promote visual study; learning community is used to support visual thinking and communication; and e-magazine by crosses way of resource organization is used to reconstruct the key knowledge of visual literacy training elasticity The three of them echo each other, making network platform become organism with lifelike vitality.
