With the development of computer science and program-controlled exchange technology, many of digital switchs have been appeared. The Digital Programmable Scheduling System is one of the small volume Digital Switchs. It can accomplish the especial coordination function. The digital record system in this article is one part of Digital Programmable Scheduling System. It can record any call in the system and store the voice datas in the computer. The digital record system has the high applied value in the special funtional departments.This article introduces the PCI plug-in card form, and the system card uses the PCI bus as the interface. The card can be directly plugged in the computer' s mainborad. On the other side of the card, the datawires connect with the output/input pin of PCM circuit. The voiec datas are transferred from outer exchange network to the digital exchange network(MT8980) by the datawire. Then the computer stores the voice datas of MT8980' s memory in the computer' s hardware. The reason of choosing the PCI Bus is that it has the good performance and application foregroud. Its transmissin speed is so fast and handing capacity is better than other bus. The most important is that PCI Bus is the strong fundation of system upgrading in the future. This record system is the all digital system, the logic circuits integrate in the Complex Programmable Logic Device(CPLD). The article uses CPLD technology to improve the system reliability , also cuts costs and minishes power consumption.
