Based On The Video Detection Technology Research And Development Of Embedded Systems

Video detection technique based on embedded system is widely applicated intelligence traffic system (ITS), protection, navigation and vision detection. It is good at real time, small size, low power consumption, and easy integration. The video detection embedded system described in this paper is a part of the automatic weight and charging system. And it could detect the status of the mobile car, in or out, in real time. The difference from other video detection system is that, the successful detection probability of this system is higher, improved real time process ability, lower cost, and smaller size.In this paper, first part is the introduction of the current status about the video detection technique, the architecture of the embedded video detection system. In the second part, it is the realization of the video process algorithm, and the software and hardware design of this system. At last, a verifying platform for this system has been developed.Particularly, this paper describes the difficult point in design of this embedded video detection system, such as, the design of high speed process and stability in the hardware platform, the robust realization of the algorithm. The whole system is based on DSP chipset ( TMS320C6204 ) that finishes the video processing, and CPLD(Complex Programmable Logic Device) that collects the video and time sequence control. So it is practical and low cost embedded video detection system.
