The Passive Millimeter-wave imaging used for detecting contraband concealedbeneath clothing is taken as research background in this thesis. Beginning with the theoryof millimeter-wave radiometry and combing with the principle of the two-dimensionalscanning radiometric imaging system, a processing system is presented in this paper, whichis based on DSP and developed with the purpose of signal processing of millimeter-waveradiometric imaging.Corresponding to the system, the structures of the processor are designed properly ,thedevices in the processor are selected carefully and a hardware design of the processor iscompleted circumspectly; Based on the principle of millimeter-wave radiometric imagingand the style of the system, the algorithms of calibration and Wiener filter are confirmedfor the imaging system, the software flow charts are also introduced here.The functions of scanning control and data acquisition are completed by ATmegal 6L.Signal processing and communication are achieved by TMS320VC5402. Time-sequencelogic control is fulfilled by EPM7128S. With favorable universality and expansibility, themodules of scan, image extract, signal processing and communication can be integratedinto one system.
