Soft-switching PWM technique integrates the advantage of resonant converter andconstant frequency modulator, which realizes zero-voltage-switching in constantfrequency, and is one of the development trends of power electronics. Only adding aresonant inductor, stress of voltage and current in devices turns lower than traditionalPWM hard-switching, without no increasing cost and complication of circuit. Phase-shiftedzero-voltage-switching PWM converter (PS-ZVS-PWM converter) is one of the topologiesusing soft-switching PWM technique, and is suited for middle to high power dc-to-dcconversion applications. This dissertation analyzes the operation principle of PS-ZVS-PWM convertersystemically. The realization conditions and ways of ZVS, the reasons and the realizationmethods of loss duty of secondary are discussed. Designing a 15KW power supply forphased-array Radar, expatiate characteristic of PS-ZVS-PWM technology and keytechnical point of solution.
