The application research on phase-shifted soft-switching PWM converter andparallel current sharing is performed to design a high power supply system for a airbornefire-control active phased array radar. This paper briefly reviews the hard-switchingtechnique and the soft-switching technique which are applied to switching power supply, analyzes the basic operation principle of phase-shifted zero-voltage-switching convertersystematically. The realization conditions and ways of ZVS, the reasons and thesolutions of duty ratio loss of secondary are discussed. The design of the unicationpowersupply is presented and the design procedures of the converter's key parametersis described in detail. The principle of distribution power supply and parallel connectioncurrent sharing technology are introduced and analized.Sepecial load sharing techniquesare employed in a parallel power supply to equally distribute the load current amoney theparallel power supply system. By using UC1902,the current sharing part in high-powerunicaion power supply of airborne fire-control active phased array radar isdesigned.Through the carrying out of research works,it is helpful to understand theanalysis, designation and modeling of ZVS converter ,and to lay a foundation for theapplication of the Full-bridge phase-shifted PWM ZVS converter. The prototypeconverter is built to verify the feasibility of the scheme, and the experimental results arealso included in this paper.
