Arm-based Rfid Reader Design

Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) is a kind of wireless identification technology, which works based on electromagnetic coupling. RFID has many characteristic such as security, contactless information exchanging. Now it has used widely in goods services, public traffic, access control, and many other areas.This thesis discusses a terminal of RFID reader, which supports ISO14443 international standard, can read and write cards of Type A and Type B. It has the extend capability, and can also vary the hardware circuit to fit different applications.This design of reader uses embedded chips as processor, the read/write function achieved by RF interface IC. The reader has network interface, USB device port and touch screen interface. An embedded opration system and tasks created in the opration system is the system's software. Through debugging the system's hardware and software, at last finished a principal sample of RFID reader.
