Millimeter-wave(MMW)is widely used in military and communication systems for its outstanding advantages. The 3dB bridge of low loss, which is the vital part in improving power combining efficiency, is different from Wilkinson bridge-classical, two, three-stage Wilkinson topology. It features usage in high performance power division and combining networks with the usual dielectric materials, as well as low loss and simple fabrication technology. The test results indicated that the return loss, volume and isolation two-stage Wilkinson topology is much better than classical and three-stage among the Output Magnitude Balance, Insertion Loss, Input Return Loss, Output Return Loss, Output Ports Isolation. The different (single, double) gold wire interconnection was simulated in the high frequency software Ansoft HFSS. After investigating the Millimeter-wave substrate material, author designs Ka-Band(26~40 GHz) Broadband solid power amplifier, including two-stage Wilkinson topology, Rogers RT/Duriod 5880, Hp-HMMC-5040 power amplifier, obtaining satisfied results.
