A 2W power amplifier module is designed. The module contains a gain amplifier a drive amplifier and a power amplifier. The article introduces the selecting of the amplifiers, and how use it. In the part of the power combining, we use low-loss 3-branch directional coupler (DC), which is easier to achieve. And it was simulated in the Serenade 8.7, the results is quite good.The different gold wire interconnection was simulated in the high frequency software HFSS. We got the suitable structure for the special circuit use. We also got the inference of different structure.The article emphasizes the bonding, handling, and mounting Procedures for millimeter wave MMICs, which will be the guide to our millimeter wave circuit achievement.
