Based on the reference search and social research foundation, this paper analyses thereasons and serious harm of that the number of road traffic accidents has been increasingyear by year, and discusses that the national governments begin to strengthen accidentcontrol measures on policies and regulations, quality education and scientific handlingaccident three level. So it educes the significance of analyzing traffic accidents with a new"car accident project" knowledge and the latest development at home and abroad. This paper first discusses the laws of mechanics and the solution of the vehicle'sfrontal, rear-end,vertical side and oblique collision based on the collision theory. We get anumber of technical ways in handling complex accident problems, such as :how to simplifythe model , how to make full use of the original investigation file information, and how togain the vehicle speed and the incident collision angle with theoretical analysis anddeduction. With the direct participation of the author, Combining the real accident casescommissioned by a number of traffic police or judicial departments during writing thispaper, we successfully used theoretical calculations to identify the car speed of frontalcollisions occurred in Hangzhou, and the collision angle and instantaneous speed law of thetwo cars rear-end crash occurred on the Sujiahang highway. This not only has provided theevidence for the relative traffic enforcement and judicial decisions, but also has verified thevalidity of the accident reconstruction techniques.Another emphasis of this paper is to introduce the finite element dynamics simulationtechnology into the typical collision accident analysis of the process reproduction, duringwhich the author focuses on some key technologies of the non-linear FEM calculationsuch as entire car modeling, part connecting, contact management, parameter setting andso on. It simulates and reproduces the entire process for the above examples of thevehicle's frontal collision. It not only reveals directly the movement condition, shapedeformation and stress distribution of the entire collision process, but makes thecalculated speed have a good law coincidence with that by the theoretical calculations. Finally, from the comparative analysis of the application study between the classicalmechanics calculation method and the finite element computer simulation, it comes up witha set of the reasonable identification methods and basic procedures on vehicle crashaccident reconstruction, discusses the advantages and limitations and their scope ofapplication, and also provides initial production for the further application exploitation andtechnology improvement.
