Virtual Network Engineering Lab Design, Research, And Key Issues

With the rapid development of the network technology and campusinformatization, building a virtual network engineering laboratory ismore and more important for network engineering subject construction.The scale of the experiment network day by day huge, and the networkequipment isomerism was more prominent. All these had decide theexperiment intelligent configure management will be one pivotal issue ofvirtual network engineering laboratory.The structure of traditional virtual network engineering laboratorysystem is fixed on in the first. This structure, intelligent configuremanagement and WEB technology are not used jointly in which, can not berealized in all equipments of different time and different kinds. Thethesis is based on the research of "the construction, research anddevelopment of network engineering laboratory based on flexiblestructure" which is made by computer school of SCNU. Based on the designand construction for virtual network engineering experiment laboratorysystem, the design and construction for network engineering experimentflexible environment are described. The design, realization and pivotalissues for virtual network engineering experiment laboratory system arestudied. The virtual network engineering experiment laboratory systembased on WEB and virtual prototype technology and its intelligentconfigure management system based on administrative levels design is putforward.The main works and achievementsin this thesis include the followingaspects:1. The design idea of flexible structure is proposed. On the onehand, the network engineering experiment flexible environment is designed. The design ideas of network experiment contentsystem and network experiment environment are also put forward.On the other hand, the flexible structure of virtual networkengineering laboratory system is designed.2. The virtual network engineering experiment laboratory systembased on WEB and virtual prototype technology, which includesequipment share experiments, software share experiments, datashare experiments and long-distance control experiments, isdesigned. The system structure and realization ways of this systemare studied and designed.3. The virtual network engineering laboratory intelligent configuremanagement system based on administrative levels design isproposed. The system structure, software structure and moduledesign are designed and realized. The administrative levels ofthe system are clear, reasonable and absolute. It can be easilyrealized and amended. The intelligent configure management canbe realized in all equipments of different time and differentkinds.4. The realization of experiment intelligent configure managementbased on WEB/Java is detailed. Based on SNMP management model,using XML and java, experiment intelligent configure managementis realized in the thesis. The experimental effect is good.
