Control System Network Laboratory

This paper introduces the process of study and exploiture on a new control system network laboratory.The network laboratory divides into three major parts: network virtual laboratory, network real-time control laboratory and local single virtual laboratory. The entire network laboratory uses the double C/S structure, namely client /server + server/ slave-computer. It completes the control system virtual experiment by using the LabWindows/CVI as the developping tool, the TCP protocol as the communication foundation and the MATLAB as the simulation background. It completes the control system real-time experiment by using the RS-232 of LabWindows/CVI. In this topic, LabWindows/CVI perfectly establishes the laboratory user surface, links MATLAB to simulation, uses network to transmit the parameter such as the experiment data, the curve data and the file, lets teachers and students to communion, specially can according need to design. And MATLAB realizes the complex numeration problem.Firstly, this paper briefly summarizes the experimental frame. Thenly, introduces the essential technology of the designing such as interface to the MATLAB, network communication, Serial port communication, ActiveX, DLL, the software baggage. Nextly, introduces the designing of the virtual simulation experiment and real-time control experiment on the network laboratory from software and hardware. Lastly, introduces the designing process of supervisory control software. Its distingguishing feature lies in:1) Used two famous designing softwares to implement soft connection under the identical computer environment.
