This paper is of EMC research between the UWB and TD-SCDMA. UWB communication is a novel short-distance wireless communication technique, in which data are transferred using non-sinusoidal pulses with very short duration. It has many advantages, such as high transmission rate, low power consumption, good security, robustness to multi-path and low cost. UWB technique is thought as a revolutionary breakthrough of wireless communications. It has comprehensive future on wireless communications, radar and precise positioning, etc.Chapter 1 overviews the history of UWB technique, introduces the characteristic and the research status of UWB technique, finally expatiates the standardization problem of UWB technique.More and more research shows that the UWB technique will be widely applied in the future. Chapter 2 introduces the fundamental principle and some common modulation and demodulation modes of UWB technique. Especially, TH-PPM and TH-PAM are emphasized in this chapter.Chapter 3 analyzes the radio link performance of UWB system clearly, and explains the EIRP and emission mask in detail, meanwhile, lays the theory basis for the radio link budget by related equations.Chapter 4 introduces the principles for the TD-SCDMA, including the working frequency, systemic characteristic, key techniques, PHY layer, frame, modulation parameter, RF parameter.Chapter 5 does research on co-existence between UWB and TD-SCDMA deeply, firstly supplies the way on interference between communications systems, then establishes the simulation model for EMC research between the TD-SCDMA and UWB, and eventually gains the conclusions based on the systemic parameters of UWB and TD-SCDMA given.
