Grid is an important development trend for parallel and distributed computing technology nowadays, aiming at realizing sharing the large quantity of heterogeneous resources largely distributed geographically. Resource management is one of the important techniques for grid. However due to heterogeneous, distributional and dynamic characteristics of grid, traditional resource management method is not applicable in grid environment. In addition, to attract resource consumers and providers of various kinds to join grid, their separate needs must be satisfied. At the same time, a great deal of economic theory studies have proved that, under many circumstances of little central guidance or without central guidance, market mechanism could be able to acquire the optimized resource allocation results by using economic methods to manage grid resource.This article first introduced the grid basic concept,Domestic and foreign grids research present situation, with grid prospects for development. Then thoroughly has analyzed the grid resource management present situation, Summarized in the present grid resource management technology deficiency. Afterwards, has emphatically analyzed in the resource management domain, the economic model correlation research results.Based on previous research, the major research works in this article are: Firstly, this thesis discusses the rationality of using economic method and agent technology to manager grid resource, and make out the need and feasibility of introducing the economic method.Secondly, this thesis proposing a new scheme that the Grid resource access. After analyzing the merit of the auction mechanism, which is applied in the grid resource management, this thesis proposes a continuous double-auction strategy, which is applied in the Grid Market.Thirdly, the thesis described the steps of the User-Broker requesting the resources and participating in auction, the main work that the Resource-Broker responsible for, and the auctioneer's some attributes and basic Behavior.Fourthly, using Java programming language, we devises a test plan based on GridSim Toolkit. And we simulate the new continuous double-auction mechanism, which is put forward.Finally, experimental results show that the algorithm and the strategy we devised are feasible, and it can improve grid overall performance.
