Since China implemented the newspaper "institutions, and enterprise management" system, the majority of our newspapers was pushed into the market, the newspaper competition is becoming increasingly fierce, the newspaper faced with the test of whether the market will recognize the survival and the survival of the fittest. In this white-hot competition, some newspapers could not jump over this threshold, decline or even withdraw from the market . However, some newspapers has used the opportunity to expand the competition completely, Guangzhou Daily Group, is a typical one.In less than two decades of reform and opening-up period, the Guangzhou Daily reported by an unknown local committee have become Chinese leading newspaper, with the more successful marketing strategies . This paper is to study the paper for its marketing strategy research.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter provides a study background and point out that since the reform and opening up, and especially since joining the WTO, China has undergone tremendous changes in a press situation, competition has become increasingly fierce. As a dark horse in contemporary China, Guangzhou Daily Newspaper successful marketing strategy practice is meaningful.Chapter 2 of the paper gives a brief account of some of its major achievements, and it is currently facing a number of problems. Chapter III to V thesis is the main part. Theory is the use of marketing strategies, from the newspaper's marketing environment, consumer behavior analysis, marketing strategy and marketing mix strategy for the implementation of the study.
