The development of wireless communication and PC technology in the future makes people believe that during next thousand years most communication products will be connected with internet. And this will change the way that people treat and use the communication products. Consumers' demands are not only the common communication, but also more important is the daily expanding demands for information. Consumers may be need to visit web site to look up information in the enterprise's database, and also maybe to manage the private data. The future consumer will require any equipment in anytime and anywhere to get needed information. So the future equipment will be more human-based and customer-based, and this means the application platform for communication equipments will be more and more diversified.With 10 years application and development of the OA system which was developed on the base of Lotus Domino, the OA system application is more mature. As the PC technology, mobile communication technology and mobile PC technology rapidly developing on the globe, and wireless theory and technology continuously maturing, with the wireless terminal cost reducing and its popularization, the new application in different industries is come out, which is based the characteristics of wireless application mode. The Internet technology and wireless mobile technology are more and more mature. Meanwhile more and more application systems developed on the base of desktop have been changed to the intelligent equipment development, because the technology of mobile application is gradually mature. Now, PDA equipments such as Pocket PC has become to the daily hand-hold information equipment for people to deal with email, calendar, pocket notebook and other various application programs. Mobile OA System was born to satisfy the popular demands. Base on the wireless communication equipments to develop mobile OA system has become a tendency to change the traditional OA system application Mobile office is an expanding and development for traditional office way and it is also an upgrade and contest. Nowadays, the needed application and services of mobile office have got much attention from producer and application service provider day by day. More and more people are trying to provide hardware and software solution to mobile office. They aim at doing mobile office through cell phone and PDA or other mobile equipments.The application of mobile OA system could improve the office pattern effectively, could simplify the traditional communication ways among different organizations. It also could accomplish the remote mobile office operation, to develop the working efficiency, to satisfy individual demands. Someone who is out off office, only using PDA or Pocket PC, could deal with official works through wireless way to meet into internet in anytime and anywhere. He can finish digital examination and approving, information releasing, individual information management and so on. At the same time, the way of mobile office enriches the application content of automatic office system at maximum, and it also enhanced the application level of automatic office system. Mobile OA system makes office out off office, and makes people remote office whenever the time whatever the place.The exploitation of mobile office system application is a complicated systematic works. On the background of mobile communication and PC technology developing gradually, the foundation of successful mobile office is the establishment and development of mobile office systems. Mobile OA System contains the basic functions of Desktop OA System, but it simplified lots of redundancy functions of Desktop OA System to make it running easier and faster on efficient way. Mobile OA System developed on popular PC technologies, such as .NET, Java, XML, SOAP, Java Servlet and so on. Referring to lots of international relevant literature and materials, predecessors' successful experiences and traditional OA system foundation, this thesis gives special analysis and conclusion for the national present research situations on. the new field. The mobile office theory and key technology are discussed in this article. On the base of research for traditional OA system, the mobile office is classified on different aspect and the feasible system architecture of mobile office is also introduced in the article. The solution is proposed that to integrate the Web Service and mobile office system to reduce the couplings among different application systems. On the other side, the sustainable technology and key technology of mobile system are researched and discussed in the thesis. In the article I made a deepen research for the series developing technology of Windows Mobile which is the latest mobile developing technology of Microsoft, Co. By using Windows Mobile developing technology, a mobile client which bases on the Pocket PC is developed. This mobile client could accomplish basic functions through Web Service transferring.The most important of mobile OA system suit is how to design and accomplish its system architecture. On the system architecture, mobile OA System contains mobile client, communication service layer and Web application service layer. Mobile client is developed on the .NET technology, and provides series interface modules, and also could be defined by custom itself. Mobile client could connect to the GPRS and CDMA wireless network automatically, and then send out remote transfer signals. Another side, mobile client also integrates SOAP and FTP client, could upload and download files from PCs on the internet to mobile equipments. Communication service layer is developed on Java technology, and contains two modules of SOAP Service and FTP Service. SOAP service will monitor and receive the remote request sent out by mobile client, and also transfer the deployed Web service on Web application server. After finished transferring, the result will be sent back to the mobile client. During the download process, the mobile client will send request to SOAP Service and then SOAP Service will transfer the file download service request to download the files from Web application server to communication server. And then, the FTP Client of mobile client will download files from the communication server to mobile client. When upload process, the FTP Client will upload files to communication server, then it will send request to SOAP Service, and the SOAP Service will transfer file upload service request to upload to Web application server. The web application server layer provides functions of desktop OA system, such as charge's affairs, email management, documents circulation, system configuration, management, flow engine and other self-defined functions. With Java Servlet technology, it is integrated with Apache Axis, and wraps functions of desktop OA system to deploy as web service for communication server's remote transferring.This thesis elaborates the specific components of mobile office system and its modules. On the other side, UML tool is used to elaborate the particulars of mobile office system to provide strong assistant supports for the mobile office system research. At the end of this article, it concludes the success of this research and it's insufficient, and also looks forward to the sequentially possible direction for mobile office research.
