The project mainly focuses on DIS embed portable instrument's terminal, which bases on the Samsung ARM microprocessor S3C44B0X and the freedom software uClinux operating system. The project accomplishes the DIS terminal's basic hardware and software design of the DISLab which founds on subsistent platform in my lab, and realizes the functions of IIC recognition for sensor, AD conversion, keyboard scan, LCD display, USB-slave upload and so on.In detail, the project utilizes the S3C44BOX as the core of the hardware system. Peripherally adds FLASH, SDRAM, ADC chip, keyboard scan chip, USB interface chip, reset chip, power chips and so on, which altogether compose the base of hardware. In the software design, the project first custom-tailors the boot loader for DIS, then transplants the uClinux successfully as the embedded operating system. After that, Linux driver and application programs are introduced. As a whole, it carries out every function of DIS.Besides, the project realizes two pivotal techniques about real time and multitasks for improving the capability of DIS. With the techniques, the sensors can work all alone or together, and the DIS can have multi - windows operating interface just like PC .Those also let the system to achieve real time measure request for all of the sensors and exhibit the innovation for this project.
