The first part is the analysis of its academic quality by studying its academic strength first. "Lecture Room" relies on CCTV-10 Channel of Science and Education, and is compatible with the channel in the scientific quality and educational style. The academic selection of themes triggered an open exchange among scholars as well as the audience's thoughts and disputes, thus upgrading its quality and taste. The second part is to analyze the reasons for its high ratings by studying public sentiment. The narrative style, the interpretation of the selected academic topics, together with the star scholars' self-directed and self-played academic performance have bridged the gap between the scholars and the general public. A series of books based on the lectures given at "Lecture Room" are best-sellers in the market, attracting not only television viewers but also readers. The third section deals with the significance of "Lecture Room" program, which has achieved the "intermarriage" between media and education, scholars and TV stations, and broken the barriers between the popular culture and the elite culture. Therefore, the academic communication was broadened; the television cultural quality was improved. The scholars, also TV stars now, rose to great fame. The television medium has drawn the audience's attention and achieved a "win-win". The fourth section explores its future development. While catering to them, the program should also guide the audience to enhance their taste. It is the voice not the screen that gives the program an advantage, which enables it to further develop the market of "listening", to empower the "studio audience" to speak, to expand the selected topics, and to return to "Lecture Room". Finally, the conclusion, a brief summary of the full text, expresses the prospects of its development.
