With the development of computer information technology, designing an IT infrastructure that ensures business continuity is no easy task. It involves designing, implementing, and testing failover procedures for servers, applications, and storage--processes that become increasingly complex as various flavors of hardware and software are added. More and more firms operate in a 7*24 environment, in this environment ,well-planned business continuity and disaster recovery solutions become critical to an organization.This thesis studies how to use the product and technology of IBM, to design a high availability and high extensibility Disaster-Recovery system.In the beginning of this thesis, introduces the import of Disaster -Recovery, and the sort of Disaster-Recovery system. Analyzed how to design a Disaster-Recovery system and select the appropriate Disaster-Recovery solution.Middle chapters research and analyze Disaster-Recovery scheme in the current business field. and deeply analyze the High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing,DB2 High Availability Disaster Recovery,Peer-to-Peer Remote Copy of ESS and so on.The latter chapters introduce how to design an high availability computer data center with HACMP and DB2 HADR, take full advantage of same-city DR, data backup in different areas, implementing the redundancy of application server,database server,storage system, make sure the system more availability, and implementing the data backup in different area with PPRC. |
