With the development of science and technology, robots had stepped into school from the library of scientist. In nowadays, robot education has become the focus in the world education field. Robot education can cultivate student's comprehensive quality. In our country, many middle and primary schools have many kinds of robot education. So it needs a lot of teachers to teach robotics knowledge.In normal university, developing robot course can train the eligible teachers for middle and primary schools. In this way, we can improve robot education level. At the same time, it can improve student's comprehensive quality and their teaching skills to accelerate our education progress.This text mainly introduces how to open robot course in normal university.Firstly, we discuss the four questions in the curriculum development. They are the course purpose, the course content, the course organization and the course evaluation. After analyzing social environment and the condition of learners, we set the teaching goal and describe the goal through three sides. The three sides are knowledge and skill, the process and method and the emotion and attitude. Based on the teaching goal, we choose contents of the course and compile textbooks. Then we design model of multi-evaluations to appraise students.Secondly, we establish the robot education assistant system to improve the teaching effect. This system includes teaching interface, management system and forum. Using the system, students can know the new result of robot research in time, expanding the knowledge of student and encouraging their interest. And it is convenient to students learning by themselves. The forum interface is a communication place for students and teachers.Thirdly, we set up robot course in capital normal university, and does demonstration research. We point out six innovations such as: bringing up innovation ability, bringing up information ability and so on. At the end of semester, we use "portfolio" to evaluate the learners' learning effect, and collect curriculum appraises. The practice indicates that setting up the robot course in normal university is successful.
