Based On The Agile Development Process Scrum Software Testing

As a popular agile developing method, SCRUM is used by more and more software companies. However, because agile software developing is a new developing pattern, the traditional software testing model and design can not be applied to it. In this paper, current software testing technologies are summarized first. Then new testing progress and implementing steps which apply to all the stages of SCRUM are designed based on Microsoft software testing experience. Finally, new test plan and test model, based on Visual Studio Team System platform, are put forward, which apply to SCRUM developing.Designing and developing automation testing tools is another hot point of software testing research. In this paper, Match, an automation testing tool based on Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0, is introduced which was developed to meet the automation testing requirement of RegSys project. Match can be used to help Graphical User Interface (GUI) automation testing, especially web based UI automation testing.Designing a new test scheme based on SCRUM and participating in designing and developing Match are the main work and innovation.
