Multi-sensor target tracking is a paradigm of information fusion technique dealing with target tracking problem, which can combine multi-sensor information to increase the precision of target state estimation, and has more advantages than the case using single sensor. Due to its broad perspective of applications in military and civil industries, study on target tracking based on multi-sensor information fusion has been paid more attention by researchers in the world. This paper is concerned with three aspects of multi-sensor target tracking technology, those are maneuvering target tracking, data association and fusion tracking.Multi-sensor Joint Probabilistic Data Association algorithm (MSJPDA) is the popular measurements fusion algorithm, winch is used in centralized track fusion system. But JPDA has high computational load, and it's not a Real-time algorithm. The paper studied a new data association algorithm, it is the Generalized Probability Data Association algorithm(GPDA),and developed Multi-sensor Generalized Probabilistic Data Association algorithm(MSGPDA).Weighted Track-association algorithm and Sequential Track-Association algorithm are the typical Track-association algorithms, which is a key problem in distributed track fusion system. The paper studied a Track-association algorithm based on wavelet transformation, analyzed its merit relative to the conventional algorithms, and presented a Wavelet- sequential Track-association algorithm.State fusion estimation works for assembling the associated tracks in an optimized manner, and gives the optimum fused track. The paper analyzed the structure and related error of state fusion, studied several typical state fusion estimation algorithms. The paper did some necessary digital simulation to the researched questions, testified the validity of the theoretical analysis...
