Distance Education Student Support Services And Service Quality Monitoring System Design And Application

This thesis concerns the design and development of Learner Support Service and Monitoring of Quality System for Distance Education(LSSMQS).By analyzing the development and status of China and other countries, and considering the actual needs for learner support services of Distance and Continuing Education College of Beijing Jiaotong University,the author brought forward the plan of analyzing and designing LSSMQS.First, the author analyzes the users' requirement and the feasibility of the plan in detail. Then the author brought forward design scheme of LSSMQS including structure design, module design, network design, program design and system environment design. Last, the author used the Learner Support Service Process Management and Monitoring of Quality Subsystem and Online Consult Subsystem as examples to introduce the research and development of Learner Support Service and Monitoring of Quality System for Distance Education(LSSMQS) in detail.After a period of research and development, most of the modules have been achieved.The system includes transmission questions, statistical analysis, inquiries and online consulting function modules.Users can login to it as consultants,staffs or managements.The system realized responsible system of initial question and process management,and ensured the service quality of distance education. The paper also introduces its preliminary application results and feedback information analysis. In the end, the author sum up the research and implement, point out some of demanding improving areas, proposes the prediction of the development of the system.
