Procurement Supply Chain Management System (PSCS) plays an important role in enterprise management system, especially in steel enterprises. The supply chain of the steel enterprise has complex operational processes and involves numerous internal modules of system and External heterogeneous systems.So the paper focuses on the. research of the application platform and the design of system integration framework. The Baosteel Procurement Supply Chain Management System, using the I2 Studio framework, is designed and developed with 4-tiers architecture. Through the distributed Execution of development platform (BPE), workflows are developed, and the business processes are designed by using the workflow design patterns.Concerning the complexity of enterprise information integration environment, the systems Integration is implemented by Common Infrastructure Services (CIS) integration platform. With the third tool (webMothed), CIS use the Web Service technology to implement internal integration among PSCS modules and external integration among Baosteel information systems.The author designed and developed the API of system integration platform, and he also implemented the special business workflows, which proved that the integration of PSCS system was reliable and flexible.The Procurement Supply Chain Management System of Baosteel has been officially put into use, and have been highly evaluated by customers from both inside and outside the company. As an experimental project of enterprise information intergration, the successful implementation of PSCS system has provided a good example of design and development of the supply chain of steel enterprises.The main study contents are as follows:First, to describe the function analysis of the procurement supply chain in Baosteel, and introduce the Baosteel procurement supply chain business scenes and the implementations of the process flow.Second, to work on the design of Baosteel PSCS platform, and establish a framework of the system development.Then, to research the workflow design patterns, introduce Business Process Execution(BPE) development platform, and use BPE to develop the business...
