Along with the development of the mobile communication, repeater is a radio communication equipment. When the 1st generation Analog mobile communication network is established, the application of repeater had started, and as the mobile communication technology has developed deeply, communication network meets a question ,that is how to improve the quality which the network covers with. Repeater advances the coverage of network signal with low devotion, low cost, relative short building cycle and preferable network quality, and it has been an important equipment to radio network coverage.At present,in the field of mobile communication , the 3rd generation mobile communication technology has become the researchful hotspot, and the relevant radio frequency technology is also the main investigative direction. Radio repeater cell is an important part of mobile communication, in the system of W-CDMA. It must satisfy the transmission broadband and low-power Spectrum density signals. on account of the core frequency band which used by W-CDMA towering above one time more than that of GSM900,CDMA800 using, and the simulation of the ullage of radio sapce, the coverage radius of W-CDMA minishes by approximately 40%. Contrasted to the system of original 2G radio communication, on the condition of coordinative power, the coverage range of 3G basal station and repeater are both smaller than that of 2G . In order to ensure the continuous coverage of alveolate net, we must optimize the W-CDMA network.It requires more repeaters to finish the coverage of the network.In this paper, it summarizes the application of W-CDMA radio communication selective frequency repeater firstly, and then introduce the work principle and system structure detailedly and concretely. Besides, it briefly explains the correlative conception, primary feature, and key technology. Whereafter,it proceeds with the indexes of linear, noise, etc, which required by the item, to discuss this scheme in detail, to make feasible argumentation, and to choose the suitable chip and circuit Structure . The radio repeater cell of selected frequency acceptance in repeater single channel has been achieved. Otherwise, it sums up the problems which can be encountered in the process of designment.
