Digital electronic control technique of aero-engine is the most popular technique in aero-engine control field, which is adopted on most aero-engines in advanced country at present. Some similar products can also be produced in our country. The jet engine researched in this paper is an old product designed more than thirty years ago, which adopted mechanical controller. The mechanical controller should be improved as the development of jet engine technique, and the design of digital electronic augmented controller is a part of that plan.To design a good engine controller, the engine models, including static model and transient model, must be constructed accurately. Firstly, a nonlinear transient engine model was constructed based on the nonlinear static engine model, referring to some papers on this field. The model was programmed by FORTRAN language. Secondly, a linear state model is obtained by fitting method to design linear controller. Then, referring to the modeling method adopted by researchers outside, this paper constructed a nonlinear real-time engine model which can be used in the all-digital or half-physical simulation of the digital controller. Lastly, a plan of digital electronic augmented control system was designed.To test the precision of the models constructed in the paper, the outputs of nonlinear transient model and experimentation, linear model and non-linear model, nonlinear real-time model and nonlinear non-real-time model were contrasted. The conclusion of the contrast showed that the models constructed was enough accurate to be used in the design of engine controller. The plan of digital electronic augmented control system is also viable.
