Location Based Service is a new wireless value-added service, which can provide mobile users location-based information services through mobile network.LBS is a fusion of spatial information technology, mobile communication, GPS, GIS, which reflects a tendency of socialization of spatial information and has promising market revenue. However, it is very difficult for service providers to enter the industry. To integrate existing geographic information system, to facilitate the development of LBS for services operators, this paper describes the design and implementation of a universal platform for location-based service. The research work of this thesis includes:1. Introduced three common positioning technology, include Cell-ID, satellite positioning and GPS assistant. Elaborated the functions of mobile location protocol in position data transmission. Analysed various methods of location requests and the composition of Le interface protocol.2. Elaborated LBS platform reference architecture and core services with key cases based on OpenLS framework. Discussed geographic information-processing engine technology and the characteristic of GML in the interactive space information. Analysed SMS and WAP technology, CMPP protocol, ISMG Gateway, WAP Gateway and other related technologies and business processes.3. Designed a location-based service platform based on J2EE framework. Implemented core components of the platform, include: Gateway applicable Short Message interface components, WAP interface component which can dynamic generate result pages according to the types of mobile terminal, positioning interface components supported location Buffer and asynchronous multithreading function, MISC interface components for User-order business and support services, GML-based information GIS interface engine components.Analysed a series of implementation problems such as asynchronous message interactive, geographic information inquiries and mobile map Rendering.4. Introduced Facade of service delivery and WebService delivery, and the similarities and differences between the two types of services. Given LBS integration services, analysis of LBS application service access control and privacy protection strategy. Simple overview of user self-help services and accounting reconciliations subsystems.
