In the disposal of the large-scale mass incidents (such as the earthquake relief,flood fighting and rescue,forest fire fighting,etc.),it is significant to collect the overall situation for the rational management of personnel,materials and action efficiently.The large-scale mess incidents usually have many participants and are sparsely geographically distributed,at the same time the situation changed rapidly.But the traditional manual information collection,data refining, Plotting means usually being done by hand,multi-level processing,and transmission speed is slow.All of those can not meet the needs of real-time control of the situation.The location-based services (LBS) have some super-ability of visual display capability in information collection,aggregation, processing,plotting,and other aspects. Based on all the features mentioned above, we design a situational awareness framework, which aimed at the real-time location for the group targets and information query. The framework can provide a real-time,entire process situation-awareness ability. This thesis mainly around the following issues on research:how to collect location information and modeling it,how to aggregate the information collected,and how to adaptively display the aggregated information. The main work described as follows.1.Collection of location information and modeling.Because collecting and aggregating a large number of distributed terminal location information is difficult by traditional means,we should be to minimize the network bandwidth and device resource consumption in transfer process.This thesis conducted a study on how to automatically obtain location information and location information modeling and efficient transmission.We proposed an automatically gain and update the location information and location information modeling program,in which we rational use of the GPS sensor of Android intelligent terminal to collect location information,and use of JSON format location information for it’s simple formats and strong exchange ability.In this way,we can quickly get,transfer,collect terminal location information.2.Aggregating lower-level information.Because the collected lower-level information is large-scale and includes varied format,it can not be used directly. Another reason is the rule-based using for a wide range,which can be predefined, and it’s results can be predictable.For these reasons,We conducted a study on rule-based aggregation,and proposed the location information aggregation program which based on the rule base and the rules generated mechanism and rules match for the underlying data.So we can aggregate underlying data according to different needs to a variety of different levels of high-level situation information.3.Adaptive display.If all the aggregated information is showed to the users, the screen will be full of meaningless icons,and we need to show different content to different users according their demand.In response to these problems,this thesis studies the technology of vector electronic map and stratified display,and proposed an adaptive display program on the base of rule-based map data re-aggregation.The program can reduce the number of labels and refine the display contents.Based on the above studies,we design and implement the Situation--awareness framework of location-based.The framework contains functions of the location information gathering,aggregation,display and meets the demand for real-time overall situation awareness in disposal process of the large-scale mass incidents.Finally,we implement a situational awareness application based on the framework and verified the feasibility of the framework by the performance testing.
