The system has been developed for the "Textbook management system". Itsmain functions are to realize modern management of college textbooks throughnetwork and thus improve efficiency with reliable systematic platform and structures.Its characteristics include simple unified interfaces, less software Level and easymaintenance,with a friendly user interface and flexible operating,reliabletrust,safety, openness,extensibility and also advanced support of Internet technology. Itcan make such a series of management as ordering, management, distribution andfinancial collocation and for the operators realize paperless and internet managementof textbooks.The paper talks about the technology of realization of system about C/S and B/Smodel,which is the mainstream in the development of software, and Web applicationdevelopment c Based on model development, that is ASP, PHP, JSP, and also thepresent main database management system, SQL server, oracle, Db2 and Sybase.Finally, we choose B/S as the development model of system and JSP as the realizationtechnology, SQL Server 2000 as the background database management system.The paper leads to a new processing model of system through the analysis of thepresent system. It puts emphasis on the functional demand of new system and thusderived to a functional model of the entire system. And through the design andrealization of functions of new system, ultimately, we make the completion of the trialof new system.
