With the high-speed development of information industry in our country, more andmore information systems have been developed. As a result, they all play importantrolls in their domains. However, the larger of the scale of the information systemsbecome, the more requirements concerned with the performance of transplantable,maintainability, expansibility and inheritable appear. The standardization ofinformation system design is becoming more important and noticeable.This paper is concerned with the author's practice in design and development ofinformation systems of administrative management and the "Yangtze scholar award"plan management organized by the Ministry of Education. The technology ofstandardization and structured design in building information systems has beenexamined and studied.Firstly, the purpose of the research has been introduced briefly. Combined with theauthor's project practice in information systems, the theme is presented.Secondly, the standardization of MIS system of the software procedures is analyzed indetails. And their importance is also emphasized.Thirdly, the actual application of the MIS is described in the project founded by theMinistry of Education.Fourthly, the prototype strategy technology of structured design and analysis in MISdesign is studied and discussed. In this technology, lifecycle is added in the prototypestrategy.Fifthly, taking the MIS founded by the Ministry of Education as an example, thestandardization and structured design are explained. The scheme of system securitystrategy and update is also analyzed in this paper.Finally, by the successful application of the standardization and structured technologyin the design of the software system organized by the Ministry of Education, theauthor recognizes the fact that the standardization of information and the developingmanagement plays a key role in a successful design of software system.A prospect of the development and application of the standardization and structuredtechnology is also predicted by the author in this paper.
