Nowadays, the 3rd mobile communication technology has become a popular trend, in which the RF tech is also involved. RF front-end is the important component in mobile communication. Compared with the 2nd mobile communication, it is the challenges that the characteristics of RF design, including high dynamic range, low noise, multi-chip transmission and linear modulation in the applications of WCDMA repeater.Not only does this paper emphasize the implementations and considerations of a receiver in WCDMA repeater, but also it introduces kinds of modules and key points in the whole practical plan. The frequency-selective modules are shown after measurement of WCDMA repeater during my post graduate.Firstly, it further analyzes other points in the advanced receiver considering the mechanisms of WCDMA. Thirdly, the general feedback control system and AGC tech is used to implement high dynamic range. In chapter five, the block diagram of frequency-selective receiver is handed out by making practical optimizations and selecting proper integrated circuit. At last, it summarizes advantages of receiver after test and measurement, adding the solutions to the problems in practical RF design.
