With the high-tech utilized in modern war, operational environment becomes increasingly complex. The instant situation on the battlefield, changing at every moment, is hard to be foreseen. Especially the hidden and flexibility of precision-guided missiles pose a very serious threat to tanks, armored vehicle and self-propelled gun etc. therefore, discovering threat as early as possible becomes a primary task in warning technology.Photoelectrical warning technology is the most advanced means, in which ultraviolet warning is paid more attention because of its excellent Hidden performance, low rate of false alarm, no need subcooling, Small size and lightweight. As the key device in ultraviolet warning system, ultraviolet image intensifier becomes the focus of research.The development and application of domestic and international ultraviolet detector is analyzed at first in this article. By comparing for its performance and cost and combining the ultraviolet detector research status and demand of our country, an image intensified type of CCD detector-ICCD is designed.This detector is mainly composed of image intensifier and CCD, and image intensifier through light cone couples to the CCD. Image intensifier implement proximity type electron-optical system, CsI with steady property and higher quantum efficiency is chosen as material of photocathode, the quantum efficiency of photocathode is closely related to its preparation process as well as photoelectron emitting pattern, through plenty of experiment and analysis, the better method of preparation process and photoelectron emitting pattern is reached.
