Solar blind ultraviolet is widely used in the ultraviolet communication and UV detection. UV is scattered and absorbed by the atmosphere when transmission, the received and output signal of UV detector is very weak, therefore, UV photoelectric signal processing technology is of higher requirements. There are few studies on the baseband signal processing of UV communication and UV detection. Therefore, thesis is focus on digital baseband signal processing of LOS UV communication and UV detection, and image processing algorithm of the UV detection image. The main work and innovation are as follows:Firstly, the thesis builds an ultraviolet detection system, analyses background noise, APD detector noise and amplification circuit noise of the UV detection system. The thesis tests these noise indoor and outdoor and uses average filter, median filter and adaptive filter to process the detected signals indoor and outdoor. The experimental results show that, the adaptive filter can efficiently estimate the noise and remove them.Secondly, the thesis designs an UV ICCD detection and imaging system, analyses the noise of UV ICCD and the difference between UV detection and imaging system and infrared detection and imaging system. According to the characteristics of UV detection image, the thesis puts forward a method of median filter based partial differential equation algorithm, the experimental results show that this algorithm can significantly improve the detection image’s peak signal to noise ratio, reduce the average absolute error.Lastly, the thesis analyses signal distortion factors caused by UV communication system, and compares convergence speed and performance of Force Zero equalization, adaptive LMS equalization and blind equalization. Combined with UV single scattering model, the thesis verifies the Force Zero equalization and adaptive LMS equalization is effective in compensating the signal loss.
