In recent years, rapid development of Internet-oriented Intranet technology is increasingly changing many methods for information share between and inside enterprises. Intranet can almost realize perfect communications between enterprise and its employees, customers, investors, providers. Actually it develops far more rapidly than Internet. Unfortunately, traditional modes for constructing Intranet have many drawbacks. For example, they ignore essential distinctions between different solutions for LAN (Local Area Network) to connect into Internet, do not consider that Intranet should be a kind of presentation as organization actions of enterprises, and neglect that software components often move between different operation system platforms. Therefore it is necessary that deeper research on design and deployment of Intranet architecture should be done.Having analyzed advantages and disadvantages of traditional modes for Intranet deployment and characteristics of Business Demands, this paper presents a new and effective construction architecture for Intranet. Intranet is divided into three components, i.e., Import Component, Export Component and Inner Component. One general Module of Import Component is also designed and realized. Integrating many new technologies, such as Cache, Java, Proxy and Web technology, this Module guarantees OS-Independence, better Security, Remote Control Mechanism, Intelligent Mechanism, Real-Time Local Search and high Extensibility. Based on ROI (Return On Investment) Analysis Method, ROI of Intranet and its three Components are also analyzed and summarized.
