With the development of high-tech, the interference of radar in modem electro-counterwork is becoming more and more important. Many local battles in the end of 20th century have indicated that the radar couldn't work well and truly in the condition of interference. The radar's echo information has a kind of important data—the info of polarization besides of the info of amplitude, frequency and phase. When electromagnetic wave irradiates the object, the polarization of object will change. The dispersion matrix of polarization indicates the dispersion characteristic of polarization. The dispersion matrix is not only concerned with object's figure, size and stance, etc. but also is concerned with object's stance of polarization. When each polarization wave radiates the object, they will produce different dispersion matrix. The dispersion matrix include luxuriant info of polarization. We can use these info of polarization to research polarization radar. The kind of radar can solve the problem of camouflage, disturbance, aerial defence of low altitude, forfending missile of radiation, etc. So it is necessary to research on polarization radar.Polarization radar have presented in order to solve polarizating signal transmitter, reception and its signal processing. Polarizer is used a kind of device which solves the problems of exciting, transform, transmiting and receiving EM wave polarization, and control its rapid transition. Recently, it is a main manner which usage of gyromagnetic effect of ferrite material complete the functions of polarization, phase-shifter variable and controllable characteristic. A new type ferrite device — ferrite omni-polarization is developed.This paper discusses briefly the conception and principle of ferrite omni-polarizer and analyse of polarization. On this basis, outlines the major design method of ferrite omni-polarizer. By emulate computing, practical ferrite omni-polarizer is schemed out. In the end statistic data and conclusion of examination is offered.
